Biofibririce is a biocomposite made from different types of polyolefins and two natural fibers (fique and rice husk), which are transformed and converted into biocomposite granules. They can be processed by injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming and/or rotomolding, giving the possibility of developing new products or substituting materials for existing products.

It reduces and/or dematerializes the manufacturing process by substituting a percentage of the polymeric matrix with the respective fractions of natural fibers.
It seeks to replace the applications of several traditional and/or reinforced thermoplastics as it has specific strength, stiffness and density characteristics according to the needs of the field of application.
