Universal Pillars

Dental abutments
Invention patent NC2022/0013108 Colombia.

This process involves fabricating a temporary abutment for dental implants using 3D printing or rapid prototyping techniques. This abutment is distinguished by its design, which allows for the creation of the emergence profile while simultaneously providing support to the temporary teeth during the initial rehabilitation phase or the immediate loading of implants. The photopolymer resin used in the fabrication of the temporary abutment has improved adhesive properties compared to PEEK, ensuring a stronger and more reliable bond with the PMMA used in the provisionalization.

Medicine, Dentistry, oral rehabilitation.
It is made from photopolymer resin. The abutment offers a more aesthetic shape, as it is not straight, but has a more anatomical shape, straight or angled and with an emergence profile design, which facilitates tissue healing and subsequent placement of the provisional crown.
  • This allows its use in immediate loading situations without the need for healing screws, simplifying the process and reducing intervention times.
  • It comes with pre-set shapes that easily adapt to existing pillars.
  • It streamlines the procedure and improves the accuracy of the fitting.
