Pectin and starch-based bioplastic.

Pectin and starch-based bioplastic
Invention Patent No. NC2016/0005259 Colombia (Granted)

A 100% biodegradable, compostable, and water-soluble bioplastic made from pectin and starch. It has a high rate of natural degradation, meaning it decomposes biologically through the action of microorganisms and returns to the earth as simple products that can be reused by living organisms. Its applications include its use as packaging or covering for dry goods.
