The technology corresponds to a formulation of a functional beverage that aids in weight loss, comprising two independent components: 1) Green tea extract beverage and 2) Konjac root extract (Glucomannan) contained in a special dosing cap that dispenses the konjac root extract onto the tea beverage just before consumption. From these components, a liquid formulation was developed that utilizes the konjac root extract, which has the characteristic of increasing its volume up to 200 times when in contact with a liquid medium. 

The proposed formulation allows for the popularization of one of the most effective components for weight loss treatment, as konjac root extract (glucomannan) reduces the amount of food consumed per meal due to the feeling of satiety it generates when taken, resulting from its expansion in the stomach. Similarly, glucomannan has the ability to reduce serum glucose and circulating lipid levels, so the weight loss effect is achieved through the combination of these effects. In addition to the properties of konjac root extract (glucomannan), the formulation includes green tea extract, which is one of the most widely used active ingredients in the weight loss industry due to its ability to accelerate metabolism, burn fat, and provide antioxidant benefits.
